The one and only son of the Godfather of Chicago wants to become a singer, so the Godfather sends him to his brother in Calabria to learn the ropes of the family business. But he decides to go to New York instead to see his other uncle, who’s running a bar. Once there he is mistaken for a hired replacement singer and vice versa. These mobsters will make you hold your breath – if you can refrain from laughing.
TI AMO premiered in 2008 at Vienna’s renowned Metropol Theater. It received a euphoric reception at its world premiere and every show thereafter was sold out ending in numerous encores and standing ovations. The show reopened for two additional engagements at the Metropol and the concert version TI AMO FOREVER is still touring today.
